Signs are pointing to a new Van Halen album and world tour in the works. The 80s stadium anthem powerhouse have been tipped to tour by Live Nation music mogul Irving Azoff during a press conference in which Live Nation announced an almost 10% fall in revenue. Adding fuel to the fire is the news that Warner/Chapell have signed the Van Halen brothers Alex and Eddie to a new publishing deal. The band’s 2008 tour which saw them reunited with original front man David Lee Roth raked in around $A100 million and the tip is that this could be the first recording with Roth on vocals since their 1983 mega seller 1984.
