Last month, iconic streetwear brand Supreme announced that they would be releasing a new capsule featuring the art of the late lo-fi trailblazer Daniel Johnston. Now, Johnston’s artwork is set to be featured again in a new collaboration between Austin Skate Shop No Comply and Vans.

Johnston tragically passed away last September, aged 58. The cult folk hero captured hearts with his earnest, heart-rending musings on life and love.

Alongside his musical ventures, Daniel Johnston was a prolific artist and illustrator. His visual work offered a look into his rare and oft-troubled mind, exploring mythical creatures, demons, humanity and superheroes.

The range will feature a selection of Johnston’s beloved, oddbod illustrations on shoes, shirts, hats, and tote bags. A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be directed to the Hi, How Are You Project—an organization that promotes mental health awareness.

“We are honored to have our endeavor represented by the art of Austin legend, Daniel Johnston,” No Comply shared in an Instagram post. “A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hi, How Are You Project and its mission to encourage open conversation around mental health.”

The Vans collection will be available for purchase at No Comply from Saturday, June 13th. You can take a look at the designs below.
