Leaving The Avalanches and Guns n’ Roses in their wake when it comes to delays in releasing records, seminal Scottish band The Vaselines are releasing their sophomore effort – 20 years after their debut. Long cited by many artists as a big influence, as well as being Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain’s favourite band, the release Sex With An X is a follow up to 1989’s debut Dum Dum. Featuring members of Belle & Sebastian and the 1990s on the recording, it’s out on September 14th and will be followed by a UK tour. The tracklising is:

‘Ruined’
‘Sex With An X’
‘The Devil Inside Me’
‘Such a Fool’
‘Turning It On’
‘Overweight But Over You’
‘Poison Pen’
‘I Hate the 80’s’
‘Mouth To Mouth’
‘Whitechapel’
‘My God’s Bigger Than Your God’
‘Exit The Vaselines’
