Purveyor of shimmering, blissed-out pop Vera Blue is going to be busy for the remainder of the year. Today, the Australian favourite has revealed not just a list of regional tour dates you’ll get short of breath just scrolling through, but also a teaser for some impending new tunage.
‘The Way That You Love Me Tour’ will see Vera Blue meandering throughout most of this great land, punctuating the run with a cheeky festival spot or two. The extensive, 13-date run sees the pop savant returning to some cities, and stopping by a few who have never been graced with her live performance.
Coming along for the ride is Alex The Astronaut, currently on course for a meteoric rise to the top of the Australian music atmosphere.
“I’m super excited to be coming to regional towns and venues that I haven’t been to before, as well as a couple of my favourite cities,” says Vera Blue of the tour.
“Pumped to be bringing a new show featuring a few songs I’ve been working on recently. Thrilled to be bringing my good friend Alex The Astronaut on tour as well, will be good vibes with our tour fam.“
With a snazzy left-right combo, Vera Blue has also started the ‘new music’ sojourn, dropping a short but divinely sweet teaser for a yet-to-be released jam. While 41 seconds isn’t much to go on, we get a glimpse of the soul of the track which bears all the hallmarks of another woozy and groovy Vera Blue hit.
