Falls Festival, Lorne
Falls Festival is a festival-season favourite. Falls has been running for 25 years, and with that comes an astounding reputation for having consistently brought the biggest and best established and emerging talent from around the globe to its numerous occasions.
The touring festival brings itself to Lorne each year, with tickets almost being released for this year’s event. With previous lineups including acts like Flume, Liam Gallagher, London Grammar and Gang of Youths, you’re bound to find something you love each year.

NYE On The Hill, South Gippsland
Another New Years festival which sells out months ahead each year. NYE On The Hill comes from the creators of other huge festivals like Unify, The Hills Are Alive! [which is currently on hiatus], and as you’ll find out about later, new festival Ocean Sounds.

Previously, the festival’s stacked lineups have included none other than Slowly Slowly, Dean Lewis, and Angie McMahon. So, with that in mind, I’m pretty sure the festival is gonna be on fire when it comes back later this New Year.

Queenscliff Music Festival, Queenscliff
Keen to explore music of just about any genre, as well as all your favourites thrown in the mix? Take a trip to Queenscliff, for the Queenscliff Music Festival. The popular beachside festival, which has been running for over 20 years, brings together Australia and the world’s finest acts.
If names like Remi, Missy Higgins and Charlie Collins stand out to you, then you’d better get those skates on and grab a ticket for one of November’s finest festivals!

Golden Plains Festival + Meredith Music Festival, Meredith
On the topic of amazing festivals, Golden Plains and Meredith are two very special events. Taking place in Meredith, this pair of events are held at the Supernatural Amphitheatre – a beautiful location.
Once, Meredith was dubbed “the world’s best” – an accolade that doesn’t come easy. Must be something about their incredible lineups!

Ocean Sounds, Churchill Island
This one’s a newbie on the block, but it’s definitely one for the ages. This family-friendly affair brings together the best Australian acts of the time, and brings in the best food and wine in a stunning location. Churchill Island, an island just off Phillip Island is used as the festival’s picturesque location.

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival
A favourite on the festival calendar – St Jerome’s Laneway Festival for years has brought the finest bands, DJs and acts, in laneways across Australia. But, in Victoria, the event gathers each year in Footscray for a one-day extravaganza.
This year’s lineup featured Gang of Youths, Skegss, Courtney Barnett, and last year’s had Billie Eilish, so one can only assume next year’s will be one huge party.
