Sydney quintet Richard In Your Mind release the first single ‘Vision’ lifted from their third full length album Sun, out now on Rice is Nice.

Following up their second album My Volanco (2010) in just under one year, in which they received a nomination from AMP (Australian Music Prize) this productive indie-pop act saw the band start writing  for the new album during their last album tour.

Recorded by Richard himself in his home in Annadale, Sydney and mixed in the Blue Mountains by SPOD, Sun introduced guest vocalist Alyx Dennison from Kyu and is much more controlled than experimental compared with the previous gem, My Volcano .

Richard In Your Mind – Vision by FBi Radio

Vision is a mellow, psychedelic track with philosophic appreciation for lifes necessaries. The Sun being their prime example. Driven by eery casio synths and part dreamy part drug induced vocals, Vision recreates a scene in your mind from a lazy forgotten Sunday.

Come Spring, Sun is set to be the stand out album for Richard In Your Mind and may very well push them into the spotlight, with  a sense of optimism, and a hard working band in tow.
