Wanderer Festival has revealed the first artists heading to the event this year.

Wanderer successfully launched last year, and the festival will head to NSW’s Pambula Beach from September 29th until October 1st.

Before the full program is announced next month, organisers have confirmed a striking selection of initial artists.

Leading the way is Kevin Morby, one of the finest US singer-songwriters of his generation. Formerly of Woods, the captivating performer has released seven acclaimed solo albums in just 10 years.

From closer to home, Aussie indie rock favourites The Jungle Giants will be on hand to get the energy flowing. For vintage rock fans, Spiderbait will be performing, while Lisa Mitchell and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra complete an impressively varied first artist announcement.

Alongside the fascinating teaser of the full lineup, Wanderer has today also opened pre-sale for the festival, which can be accessed via the official website.

“We were amazed by Wanderer’s reach last year with so many people travelling to enjoy not only Wanderer, but this stunning part of the world,” festival organiser Simon Daly says. “With the dates falling on a long weekend for most of our audience, we know people will want to secure their tickets and start planning ahead.”

“Wanderer has already built up a really strong following and people know to expect a diverse and well curated program of established artists as well as hot emerging talent set in a stunning, boutique festival environment that produces a really special vibe. We really appreciated everyone getting behind Wanderer right from the get go, so the presale is a kind of thank you to them.” Daly said.

The full Wanderer lineup will feature over 70 artists, and the festival will also contain a world-class program of music, art, comedy, theatre, circus, and artisan workshops spread across three days.
