Wanderer Festival is back in 2025 with a heavyweight lineup and a serious incentive to get in early—100 punters will score money-can’t-buy VIP upgrades.
Returning to the picturesque Sapphire Coast on October 4th and 5th, the biennial festival has just dropped a stacked lineup featuring a mix of beloved Aussie staples, global heavy-hitters, and rising stars. Leading the charge this year is Missy Higgins, The Living End, Boy & Bear, and US indie-pop darlings Saint Motel.
Saturday’s setlist reads like a triple j fever dream — Higgins takes top billing alongside Californian genre-blenders Saint Motel, surf-punk duo Hockey Dad, and Aussie alt-rock royalty Magic Dirt. Dutch DJ Lavern is also flying in for the party, while local favourites like Pierce Brothers and Grace Cummings round out the day.
On Sunday, it’s The Living End’s turn to bring the fire. Known for their blistering live shows, the Aussie rock veterans will be joined by Boy & Bear, UK soul powerhouse Jacob Banks, French chillwave producer Petit Biscuit, and a DJ set from synth-pop legends Cut Copy. Rounding out the global bill is Nashville’s Nikki Lane, bringing her own brand of outlaw country to the coast.
Also on the bill across the weekend are Adalita, Jack Botts, Emma Donovan, The Vanns, Folk Bitch Trio, Jimi the Kween, and many more. Electronic sets in the Wanderhaus will feature b2b action from Chicka and Rangz, Swell Records DJs, Usual Suspects and more.
The massive music program spans over 60 acts, but Wanderer isn’t just about the tunes. The festival’s arts program returns with crowd favourites like Circus Trick Tease, giant ladder and wheel stunts, morning yoga, dance parties, and a welcome to country with the Duurunu Miru Dancers.
And for those keen to level up their festival experience: for the first time ever, Wanderer is offering VIP upgrades… but not for sale. Instead, 100 ticket buyers will be randomly selected to receive a VIP upgrade for every ticket in their order if purchased between 9am Tuesday, May 27th and 11pm Tuesday, June 3rd. That means exclusive access to a primo viewing area beside the main stage, bar service, and room to chill between sets.

Onsite camping opens Friday, October 3rd, with buses running to Pambula and Merimbula—and payment plans for ticket options are available.
Don’t sleep on this one —being a biennial festival, if you miss 2025 you’ll be waiting until 2027 to catch the next one.
