Formed in the desolate playground known as the Fortitude Valley, Blonde on Blonde is intrinsically about psychedelic indie infused rock and roll.
Their single single “Oh My Oh My” reaching the number 1 position on 4ZZZ radio’s top 10 countdown for 2 weeks in a row and the band went on to receive airplay on FBI, 4RRR and Triple J introducing them to a new audience. Topping that off was a video clip for the single “Are You Entertained’ being voted in at number 17 in the RAGE top 50 for 2011.
Having already supported the likes of Tame Impala, Wolfmother, Sugar Army, Dead Letter Circus, Papa Vs Pretty, Violent Soho and Urge Overkill, and performing at the 2011 gold coast Big Day Out Festival alongside Iggy and the Stooges, Primal Scream and Tool, the group were invited to the prestigious MUSEXPO conference in Los Angeles California, known for launching the careers of LMAFO, Katy Perry and many more.
