It’s tough out there on the road, what with the drinking, and the waiting, and the weird hours, and the having-to-remember-which-state-you’re-in.
Adopting a cliche as old as time (or at least as old as Spinal Tap), Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor repeatedly tried to hype up an Idaho crowd with a few passionate cries of “Oregon, is that you?” and, “Did you miss Stone Sour in Oregon?”
Funny thing is, a bunch of people still cheer, although there are those vocally yelling “NO!”
Obviously Taylor released his mistake at some point, saying “You know what’s funny? I’ve been doing this a long fucking time. This is the second time I’ve done this. Idaho, is that you? I am so fucking sorry, my friends. Jesus Christ.”
It’s quite funny, and Taylor was good-humoured about it. Hey, geography is hard.
