If there’s one Aussie musician who most certainly has made a dent in 2015, it’s our slack-rock queen, Courtney Barnett.
The Melbourne singer-songwriter at long last dropped her debut record Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, which we crowned an instant Aussie classic that saw her climb the international charts, and one our of favourite tunes, ‘Kim’s Caravan’, has been turned into a music video.
The dark, almost experimental-rock typed track has been bought to visual life by director Bec Kingma and producer Anna Kojevnikov, the video matching the song’s brooding aesthetic perfectly.

The incredible music vid is one of many exciting things happening in the Barnett world, the artist having also been named on the epic Glastonbury lineup for the second time in a row – clearly, the Brits are just as obsessed as the rest of the world.
The year 2015 has been massive for Court insofar, she’s performed in front of millions on the same TV show as Michelle Obama, was hilariously misinterpreted by some of the US’ most important music websites, was oddly compared to Lena Dunham by The Guardian (bizarre), released not one, but two more brilliant music videos, and of course, soared the charts across the globe courtesy of her killer debut record.
