Pearl Jam hit Boston’s iconic Fenway Park Stadium on Sunday Night for the first of their two “Away Shows”. The bands set was speckled with surprise covers and rare performances of songs.

Pearl Jam honoured hometown legends Buffalo Tom by covering ‘Taillights Fade’ live, for the first time in their career. Buffalo Tom frontman Bill Janovitz joined the band on stage. Interchanging vocal leads with Eddie Vedder and playing guitar.

The band also treated fans to a rare performance of “Out Of My Mind”, a B-side off their Vitalogy album. It is the first time the band have played the track in nine years. Consequence Of Sound have reported that Vedder prefaced the track with “I don’t have the lyrics for this song, so I’m just gonna make it up and try my best,”. Check out the fan shot footage below.
