Having been announced as part of the stacked lineup for Falls Festival this December and January, LA’s favourite noise pop enfants terribles Wavves recently announced they’ll be bringing the ruckus to Sydney and Melbourne for headline shows this January.
The brainchild of frontman Nathan Williams will be making their fourth trip Down Under to play shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Max Watt’s on Saturday, 2nd January and Sunday, 3rd January.

Going one better for their fans, they’ve now announced that they’ll be joined at both shows by none other than Byron Bay psychedelic trio The Babe Rainbow, who’ll be bringing their blissed-out, summery, flower-child vibes to both headline shows.
Meanwhile, Sydney garage rock outfit Bloods have been confirmed to open the Oxford Art Factory show, while Melbourne punk rock favourites Wet Lips will be kicking off the night’s festivities at Melbourne’s Max Watt’s.
