We may be alone in this, but for us, the dawn of a new year is basically a countdown to Record Store Day. Taking place on the third Saturday of April each year, it’s a special day set aside to celebrate independent record stores, the little (but incredibly important) battler in the modern music industry.
Of course, one of the most exciting parts about Record Store Day is getting your hands on the list of RSD exclusive releases, however it’s also a day all your locals host their own in-store mini parties around the country.
