‘Nothing Was the Same’ is the follow-up to his 2011 release ‘Take Care’, and signals another massive evolution not only for the artist but for rap music as a whole. Moving away from the traditional rap album the sound coasts along on Drake’s hypnotic R&B crooning, bringing together immediately unforgettable hooks with silky and seductive soundscapes.
Already this year, Drake has garnered his first-ever Grammy Award , the album reached #15 on the ARIA albums chart amongst many other accolades.
