Multi-platinum alternative rock band AFI recently released their ninth studio album ‘Burials’ which is out now through Universal Australia.

The California-based band recorded the album with producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Patti Smith, Foo Fighters) at East West Studios in Los Angeles. The record was mixed by Andrew Scheps (Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

Since the release of 1995’s debut album ‘Answer That and Stay Fashionable’, AFI have sold more than 110,000 albums in Australia and over 3.1 million worldwide, garnered critical acclaim and amassed a fiercely loyal international following whose members number in the millions. 2006’s gold selling record ‘Decemberunderground’ reached #3 on the ARIA albums chart and  spawned the global alternative hit ‘Miss Murder’, which went on to sell over 1.8 million copies around the world.
