Melbourne’s NGV has just become an ideal place to catch live music every Friday night with the introduction of a new weekly event: ‘Friday Nights at NGV’.

Each Friday night from 6-10pm the NGV will host a curated selection of talented Australian artists, along with an array of food, drink, art and inspiration.

Tickets and more information can be found at the NGV’s website, and we’ll be letting you know who’s playing each month so you don’t miss out.

Brisbane trio The Goon Sax will headline this Friday, playing songs from their critically hailed debut album Up To Anything. Accompanying their performance will be an appearance from jazz quartet Bon Apetit and a short talk from the University of Melbourne’s Michael Christoforidis on ‘Music and the Ballet in Degas’s Paris’.
