Violent Soho’s highly anticipated third LP ‘Hungry Ghost’ did not disappoint the die fans of the band and certainly helped gather them a whole bunch of new fans.

For the recording of the album, Violent Soho enlisted the help of producer Bryce Moorhead, “one of the greatest, most underrated producers in Australia… Brisbane’s Steve Albini,” as the band put it, Violent Soho began tracking the album before the finishing polish and mixing job by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, The Hold Study) at New Yrok’s Fluxivity Recordings.

To celebrate the release of the album, the band are hitting the road  for shows in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA, and taking Sydney’s Straight Arrows along for the ride on the following dates:

Thu Oct 24 – Great Northern, Byron Bay NSW (18+)

Fri Oct 25 – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney NSW (18+)

Sat Oct 26 – The Zoo, Brisbane QLD (18+)

Thu Oct 3 – Mojo’s, Fremantle WA (18+)

Mon Nov 04 (Melbourne Cup Eve) – Corner Hotel, Melbourne VIC (18+)
