Redcoats appeared on the Australian music scene with an arrival that was difficult to ignore. The Melbourne band has been on a steady ascent, prowling the country with their brutally fierce live set, supporting the legendary Stone Temple Pilots, Papa vs Pretty and Calling all Cars.
After deciding to drop everything and focus on their music in early 2010, the band gradually worked their way into the thriving Melbourne live scene. With growing industry awareness, Redcoats were invited to showcase at the 2010 International Music Conference One Movement in Perth. As their first track to radio Giants circulated across triple j and Rage, Redcoats ended 2010 with a gig at Pyramid Rock Festival and Violent Soho on NYE.
