BONJAH are back with their big new sound with their brand new single ‘Evolution’. Recorded at Melbourne’s Sound Park Studios with Fraser Montgomery and Cameron Fleming, mixed by Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger, R.A.T.M) at 301 studio. Tracked live it showcases Glenn Mossop’s raw power, falsetto brilliance and sees Bonjah exploring their musical pallet sonically.
Bonjah came to life when the childhood friends booked a one way ticket from New Zealand to Melbourne to pursue a dream of music back in 2006 and have played hundreds of sold out shows around the world including Japan, Germany, England, Australia and New Zealand, sharing the stage with such acts as The Who, The Beautiful Girls, G Love & Special Sauce, The Cranberries and Paul Kelly, just to name a few, along with playing last year’s Big Day Out, Germany’s Ju Wi Fest and Japan’s Greenroom festival.
Now with their feet firmly grounded on aussie soil, the band are ready to hit the road to play you some new tracks including ‘Evolution’ off their forthcoming album due for release later in 2013. It’s not a small tour and you can catch them in almost every Australian state on the following dates:
