Following a 6 month hiatus, Ron S. Peno & The Superstitions are proud to announce their return to the stage, Friday October 31 at The Spotted Mallard in celebration of the beloved Brunswick (Melbourne) venue’s second birthday.

For Ron S. Peno & The Superstitions 2014 has seen the continued critical acclaim of sophomore album ‘Anywhere and Everything Is Bright’ and sold out shows around the country.  Ron Peno has been very active with other projects ‘The Darling Downs’ and ‘Ron Sings Died Pretty’, while Cam Butler has been touring Europe with his solo project and collaborating with the best of Europe’s songwriters.  This show will see the band with Andy Papadopoulos,  Tim Deane & Mark Dawson return to the stage that so impressed audiences at their own shows, as well as their fantastic show with the iconic Sunnyboys, to once again show Melbourne what a fantastic creative outfit they are.

“Songs such as Fall from Above, which begins like the Walker Brothers in smoky mode and builds inexorably until a crescendo
hits like a shipwrecked boat hitting the rocks.”
