The Wide Open Space Festival has been spending the last decade making a name for itself as one of the most interesting festivals in Australia. Held 80km outside of Alice Springs, it is undoubtedly one of the more isolated Aussie music festivals, but it also delivers one of the most diverse and intriguing lineups in the country.
If the idea of a festival featuring Regurgitator, REMI, Alice Ivy, Haiku Hands, and more sounds like a good idea to you, then Wide Open Space is right up your alley. But if you’ve got no idea how you’re going to make it over to the Northern Territory for this fine fest, then this article is right up your alley, because organisers are giving fans the chance to win a pretty spiffy looking trip over to the fest.
The inaugural #WOSareyouwaitingfor competition is giving a lucky punter the opportunity to visit the Red Centre with an all expenses paid trip. All you have to do is design your perfect ten-day trip to Central Australia for the Wide Open Space Festival, and upload your itinerary to socials with the tag #WOSareyouwaitingfor.
The competition is open to all Aussie residents from outside of the Northern Territory, and your planned trip can be up to the tune of $6,000, so be sure not to go over your budget! (You can also plan the trip for a group as well, just keep it under $6k!)
Entries are open now, and have been extended until April 2nd. So if you had any plans for Easter this weekend, cancel ’em and start planning the best holiday adventure you can imagine. Who knows, you could be rocking out to some of the finest rock, roots, hip-hop, and electronic acts in the country before you know it!
For more information on the competition, and for ticketing links, check out the Wide Open Space Festival website.
