US TV viewers were treated a near-complete reunion of the Wu-Tang Clan recently, with the group teaming up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform a pair of classic tracks.

Just last month, US rapper Logic shocked everyone by releasing his track ‘Wu Tang Forever’, which inexplicably featured all living members of the Wu-Tang Clan as guest musicians. A lofty task, many wondered how he managed to pull off such a task, with some noting that recent arguing between members was a sign of bad blood in the group.

Despite this, the remaining members of the Wu-Tang Clan graced Jimmy Kimmel Live! audiences on Friday night, performing tracks in honour of the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

While founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard sadly passed away back in 2004, his son Young Dirty Bastard appeared in place of his late father, helping to complete the clan for the first time in years.

Yes, an almost-complete reunion, The RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, GZA, and Cappadonna all took to the stage, performing iconic tracks ‘Protect Ya Neck’ and ‘C.R.E.A.M.’

Of course, the Wu-Tang Clan have been the subject of a bit of publicity over the last year, with their famed 2015 album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin being seized by US authorities during the investigation of disgraced American businessman Martin Shkreli.

At this stage, it’s no clear when or if fans might ever get a chance to hear this record, however rumours have surfaced that the Clan are actually recording a new album this year in honour of their debut’s 25th anniversary.

Whatever the case, don’t forget that the Wu-Tang Clan will be hitting up Aussie shores later this year when they descend upon the Sydney Opera House for a four-date residency which will see them deliver some of the most iconic hip-hop hits of all time.
