It was a sad day when we bid farewell to Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister on December 28, 2015, after the 70-year-old passed away following a brief battle with cancer. However, in what’s come as a pleasant surprise for fans of the heavy metal godfather is the news that the WWE has dropped one of the late rocker’s last-ever interviews.

Titled Live To Win: A Conversation With Triple H and Lemmy, the 37-minute long video is now available on subscription from the WWE’s official website (with the first month currently free for new users), with the synopsis describing the chat as “a rare interview” featuring the trio as they discuss “heavy metal, friendship and life on the road.”

The conversation took place at the Motörhead muso’s favourite haunt, the Rainbow in L.A.

Lemmy Kilmister and longtime WWE wrestler Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) actually have a friendship that dates way back, with Motörhead’s 2002 song “The Game” being the wrestler’s entrance track, with several other Motörhead tracks also being used since then, including “Line in the Sand” and “King of Kings”.

According to a snippet of the interview released on YouTube (which you can check out below), Lemmy’s favourite song choice for Triple H was 2006’s “King of Kings”, which he recorded especially for Levesque.

Triple H also tweeted upon his friend’s death: “One life, lived your way, from the beginning, till the end. See you down the road my friend… Thank you for the gift of your sound.”
