Earlier this year, Danny Boyle unveiled his latest film, Yesterday, which depicts a world in which The Beatles never existed. The film followed the story of a struggling musician who wakes up in an alternate reality where The Fab Four never existed and thus launches his career jacking famous and forgotten Beatles hits. Now, one absolute madman has reimagined the trailer for Yesterday, but instead of exploring a Beatle-less world, the trailer takes place in a timeline where shock rockers GWAR don’t exist.

“This video will mainly appeal to people familiar with GWAR who have also seen the trailer for the upcoming film Yesterday,” creator Ryan’s Shorts has explained. “About a man who wakes up from an accident in a world where he is the only who remembers The Beatles. So about a dozen people.”

It’s a pièce de résistance that takes a huge, steamy dump on Danny Boyle’s original effort. Check it out below.

This isn’t the first impeccable reimagined trailer we’ve been privileged enough to experience. Last year comedians Anna Salinas & Heather Alarcón Higginbotham reimagined Bradley Cooper’s enormously successful directorial debut, A Star Is Born, to tell the story of KoЯn frontman, Jonathan Davis.

A Star Is Korn is, with no word of exaggeration, cinemas greatest achievement to date.

In related news, earlier this month it was revealed by Yesterday writer Richard Curtis, that the film almost featured appearances from all of The Beatles. Curtis explained that the likes of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the late George Harrison would have been depicted in the film. Read more about it now.
