Barcelona’s Primavera Sound has unveiled an impressive lineup for its 2026 edition, confirming The Cure, Doja Cat, the XX, and Gorillaz as headliners for the three-day festival at Parc del Fòrum from June 4th-6th.

The extensive roster spans 150 artists, featuring a compelling mix of established legends and contemporary chart-toppers. Massive Attack, My Bloody Valentine, and Mac DeMarco represent the festival’s commitment to alternative and indie excellence, while Addison Rae, PinkPantheress, and Skrillex bring contemporary pop and electronic energy to the proceedings.

The announcement continues Primavera Sound’s recent trajectory towards pop-centric bookings, following this year’s pop girl takeover that saw Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX dominating headlines as headliners. Festival organisers acknowledged this direction by captioning their Instagram announcement with lyrics from Addison Rae’s “Headphones On”.

Electronic music receives representation through Peggy Gou and Skrillex, while the likes of Big Thief, Wet Leg, and Slowdive ensure the festival maintains its indie credentials. Rising stars Lola Young, Ethel Cain, and Little Simz add contemporary appeal alongside established acts.

The lineup also includes Father John Misty, Role Model, Marina, Bad Gyal, Alex G, and Blood Orange.

Irish hip-hop group Kneecap will also return to Primavera Sound following their controversial 2024 performances. The group sparked debate during their Coachella sets in April when they used their platform to raise awareness about Israel’s ongoing attacks on Palestine. Festival organisers specifically noted that Kneecap “are more than welcome at Primavera Sound and will return on their own merits after their performance at last year’s festival.”
