A street mural recently added to the wall outside of Zigi’s Wine & Cheese Bar on Teggs Lane in the Sydney area of Chippendale has made international headlines.
The work of street artist Scott Marsh, the mural depicts rapper and walking ego Kanye West making out with himself, inspired by the popular internet meme depicting the same.
Zigi’s couldn’t be more happier with the work, proudly sharing it on Instagram. Meanwhile, couples have been flocking to the mural to take selfies and make out in front it.
It would be interesting to see Yeezy’s reaction to the artwork. On the one hand he famously can’t take a joke, but on the other, it’s a two-storey depiction of his love for himself.
As Tone Deaf notes earlier today, Melbourne’s music laneways have proven to be tourist hot spots and it looks as though Sydney may have just been granted with its own new musical Mecca.
