UPDATE: The Splendour In The Grass 2016 lineup has finally arrived – get it right here!

The Splendour In The Grass 2016 lineup is finally set to drop on Wednesday, 13th April, along with that all-important ticketing info. That means we still have another nail-biting week of speculation about just who’s on it.

As we recently noted, potential lineup members are dropping like flies left and right, though there’s still quite a few promising possibilities, and one band who basically leaked their place on Splendour 2016, much to our delight.

But as FasterLouder reports, the lineup for Colorado’s Divide Music Festival, which take place at the same time as Splendour, has ruled out another stack of awesome bands who now won’t be seeing at Byron Bay this July.

Sorry to say, but anybody who was hoping to see Kid Cudi, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, The Fray, Cake, Blondie, Bleachers, or Miike Snow make an appearance, you’re straight out of luck, they’ll all be at Divide.

Splendour also won’t be the place for Passion Pit to make things right after cancelling a previous tour last year. The band already have two Splendour appearances under their belt, having played in 2010 and 2013.

So who can we expect on the lineup? Well, among the most FOMO’d-over names currently on the ‘Likely’ list are The 1975, At The Drive-In, Sigur Ros, and Lana Del Rey. But all will be revealed next week right here on Tone Deaf.
