Last night, The Smith Street Band premiered their eagerly anticipated new single, ‘Death To The Lads’. So anticipated not only because we love us some Smith Street, but it also serves as the first taste of the band’s new album.

“It’s mainly about growing up and changing, admitting we make mistakes and trying to improve ourselves,” says frontman Wil Wagner says of the new single, which was penned on the road during the band’s busy touring schedule.

2016 has seen Wagner embark on numerous tours of North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia, both with the band and solo. With plenty of fuel still in the tank, The Smith Street Band will tour once more at the end of the month.

‘Death To The Lads’ also comes complete with a new film clip directed by Neal Walters and starring The Smith Street Mums. In the clip, the mums of each of the four Smith Street Band members spend a day in the life of the band.
