6ix9ine thinks his popularity will soar after he’s released from prison, and his haters? They’ll all be forgotten upon his release. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the Jesus complex.
The rapper, who was arrested for racketeering and possession of firearms, firmly believes that all the celebrities and emcees who have been hating on him over the past couple of weeks are simply envious and threatened by him, TMZ reports. He also thinks that all the snitching and testifying he’s done on his old crew will be forgotten by then. But hey, nobody forgets a snitch. The sheer catalogue of people who’ve spoken ill of 6ix9ine is long and endless, and includes YG, Meek Mill, 50 Cent, The Game, Snoop Dogg, and J. Prince.
Snoop Dogg even went out of his way to remind 6ix9ine that even Martha Stewart isn’t a snitch.
Lil Durk recently added his name to the ggrowing list of 6ix9ine haters, expressing that he strongly objects to 6ix9ine’s testimony against the Nine Trey Bloods gang. “A rat is a rat,” he said in a Genius interview. “Ain’t nobody deserve to go to jail at the end of the day, but a rat is a rat. I’m not surprised he told.”
A few weeks ago, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s former manager was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
As Pitchfork reports, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan – who is also the alleged leader of the Nine Trey Bloods gang – is set to serve 15 years in prison after having pled guilty to “one count of firearm possession during a crime and one count of firearm discharge during a crime.”
The charges stem back to the same two incidents from April of 2018 that also involved 6ix9ine.
