The Barbariön Australian Tour 2013 has been announced and the mighty musical force of these Melbourne-based live favourites is set to come crashing down on Australian stages like – in the band’s own yawp-like holler – “a robotic samurai riding a flaming tiger.”
Formed in 2007 with the sole ambition of ‘making party’, Barbariön have bludgeoned their way through pubs and clubs to become a local favourite for their over-the-top theatrics and classic rock show. Scantily clad in all manner of leather, fur, studs and armour they have blasted festival audiences at Boogie, Cherry Rock, Meredith and the Big Day Out with their powerful metal riffs and mega-explosive stage antics.
Now, with egos supercharged thanks to a highly successful European tour, Barbariön are set to unleash upon Australia their new single ‘METALMAN’ from their album Ram the World, released earlier this year.
