Everyone’s favourite Essex lefty troubadour is embarking on a theatre project. His latest effort to inject socialism to the masses, Billy Bragg has written the songs for the project, billed as “part play, part gig, part art installation”.

Written by Mick Gordon, the play observes British identity and will be run at London’s Wellcome Collection. “I have never done anything like this before, mixing songs with theatre is a totally new experience for me,” said Bragg.
So long as there is a New England, Tone Deaf will never tire of Billy’s output.
