Sydney cartoon electro punks Art vs Science are quickly getting themselves attention on their inaugural trip to the UK. Given big ups by influential Xfm London DJ John Kennedy on his show, they played to a rapturous sold out crowd at the Camden Crawl in London on the weekend where their set included a cover of Jazzy Jeff’s 90s ‘classic’ Boom (Shake Shake The Room) and instrumental jams where the audience was given demonstrations on how to scull a beer in one go. They’re about to headline this Friday’s Club NME at Koko in London with fellow Aussies Philadelphia Grand Jury, before taking in a short tour of Blighty. Their days of playing club venues in Sydney are most likely numbered.
