It’s just a matter of sleeps until major stakeholders from the local and international music scene make their way to Brisbane for BIGSOUND 2015, Australia’s biggest annual music industry conference and artists showcase.
To get things started right, beloved local indie labels Rice Is Nice and Spun Records have announced they are hosting an official BIGSOUND 2015 pre-party with a lineup of great local bands… oh, and there’s gonna be free beer, too.
The party takes place Tuesday, 8th September at hallowed Fortitude Valley staple Black Bear Lodge, with a lineup featuring the likes of The Ocean Party, Shining Bird, Gold Class, Us The Band, Donny Benet, and Aldous Harding, and more.
Also, if we hadn’t made it clear already, there will be free beer. Yes, beer that is free, as in beer that you do not have to pay money for – it’s free. You just go in, watch awesome music, and drink beer for free.
Meanwhile, BIGSOUND will host 140 bands who will play over two nights on 9th and 10th September, taking over 14 of Brisbane’s best music venues and giving tastemakers, industry figures, and the general public one of Australia’s most unique festival experiences.
BIGSOUND Live tickets are now on sale for just $75 for two nights or $45 for a single night, with an exclusive pre-sale for 2014 ticket holders from 19th June. Special rate tickets for the BIGSOUND industry conference are on sale now via the official BIGSOUND website.
