Our favourite retro pop-rockers Donny Love are today premiering their brand new single ‘Hey You’, it’s a wonky pop gem reminiscent of old-school jangle guitar bands like The Go-Betweens.
Incredibly endearing, the single muses on the consequences of a young life-lived, looking back on it and into the future, through a positive and innocent new lens but also recognising that those involved along the way might not share the sentiment.
Since releasing their debut EP Sultry Visions back in December last year, the band have been kicking major goals. As well as sharing stage with Thee Oh Sees, Homeshake and Mangelwerzel, they’ve added guitarist Joel Van Rooyen from Salvadarlings to the Donny Love fold.
