For his entire career, Liam Gallagher has been known as one of the most abrasive men in rock, and things only got worse (or better) when Twitter came around, with the ex-Oasis frontman using the platform liberally to lash out at anyone he even vaguely disagrees with – most recently absolutely tearing his brother and former bandmate Noel apart.
Well, it seems that his son Gene follows along with his dad’s antics and has learnt a thing or two from them, The Sun reports, as he’s just done a damn good impersonation of his father’s Twitter by laying in to a family member of his own: his cousin and Noel Gallagher’s daughter, Anais.
The 16-year-old Gene has told his 17-year-old cousin and Tommy Hilfiger model Anais that she looks like her dad in a wig, before carrying on with a very Liam-esque rant.
“I didn’t wanna have to make another tweet but someone informed me that Anais has been chatting more s**t about genetics and what not…” he begins. “Firstly, u look like ur dad w blonde wig on…
“Secondly, u model coz u look like ur dad not coz of who u are nobody care about who u are lmao,” he added. “Whoever got to chose who got to model for Tommy Hilfiger is a complete doughnut who should go spec-savers.”
“Never will u ever see me attend a celebrity driven, posh rubbernecking, kids culture club…” he finished, apparently making reference to Anais’ celebrity kid mates including Jude Law’s son Rafferty, Suki Waterhouse’s sister Maddi, and Daniel Day-Lewis’ son Gabriel-Kane, with whom Anais has been spotted on the red carpet at various fashion events.
So, the youngest of Liam Gallagher’s four kids is the one who takes after his dad the most, it seems, and while I’d suggest that Liam tell our kid to rein it in a bit, but he doesn’t really have a leg to stand on there.
Liam Gallagher also has bigger things on his plate: the poor bastard now has to make his own tea, due to declining album sales.
