A 50 Cent fan always pays his debts. 50 Cent, has had a very peculiar and wholesome interaction with a fan involving an unpaid debt and a stolen CD.
In a video shared to Instagram, 50 Cent has detailed an encounter with a fan that attended a meet-and-greet with the sole purpose of settling a debt. The fan came to the rapper to repay him $20 for stealing his album in the fifth grade.
“Why this come to the store and give me this $20 right here,” 50 said in a video showing off a $20 bill. “He said, ‘here take it…’ and said, ‘I stole your CD in fifth grade. The only person who knew about it was my cousin, but this bitch on some bullshit so I know she going to go left on me. I don’t need you putting me all over your Instagram.'”
Fifty has recently been on a warpath with claiming unpaid debts. This year alone has seen fifty come for business partner Randall Emmett, Love & Hip Hop star Teairra Mari and actor Jackie Long, claiming that all three owed him a significant sum.
50 Cent has never been one to shy away from being petty. Back in October, the rapper pranked his longtime rival Ja Rule by buying 200 front-row tickets to his upcoming concert, with the intention of leaving them empty.
“I just bought 200 seats in the front so they can be empty,” he explained at the time “At $15 a pop you can’t lose, I got 200 tickets for 3 bands.”
