Get ready to plan your day right, with triple j revealing the set times for their Dream Festival this weekend.
How often have you toyed with the idea of what your dream festival lineup would be? Sure, there are programs out there than can answer the question for you, but how often can you really experience the beauty of this unattainable lineup?
For quite a while, triple j used to answer that question by way of their Impossible Music Festival, which did exactly what it said on the tin, and offered up live sets from your favourite artists of the past and present on a bill you’ll never see in the flesh.
Last month though, they revealed this notion was set to make a return, with their Dream Festival set to hit the airwaves on Saturday, June 22nd.
Now, you can start planning your listening schedule, with triple j today announcing set times for this year’s event.
Featuring some of the biggest names of all time, punters will have to choose between hearing headlining sets from the likes of Gang Of Youths, Radiohead, and Flume, while Lana Del Rey vs. Silverchair, The xx vs. Eddy Current Suppression ring, and the simulcast of Powderfinger vs. Powderfinger will make for some tough decisions.
As we noted last month, this weekend’s festival will feature archival performances from the likes of Tame Impala, the Beastie Boys, Grinspoon, and much more on the triple j, Double J, and Unearthed stages, respectively.
It’s all set to go down this Saturday from 12pm local time on each of the stations. If you’re keen on tuning in, be sure to grab the triple j app for iOS or Android and relive the sweatiness of the crowd from the comfort of your lounge room.
