All we want for Christmas are Mariah Carey potato chips.

Mariah Carey has reportedly been offered £9 million to become the new face of overseas potato chip brand, Walkers Crisps, which when converted to the Aussie dollar, makes a whopping $14 million. Yep, you read that right.

So yeah, Carey is fully being eyed up by the brand of potato chips to take over from the Spice Girls as their brand new face.

The catch is, she’s also been offered more money for the role than all five members of the iconic girl group put together. Talk about being balanced and fair. Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C, and Victoria Beckham are probably fuming right now.’

Apparently, Walkers Crisps want to film a festive holiday advert featuring Mariah Carey and her hit single ‘All I Want For Christmas’.

“Having the Spice Girls on board was a real coup for Walkers in terms of names they’d be able to work with in the future,” one source said.

“They (Walkers) approached Mariah earlier this year and it’s all going through now. Her people have the contract and are just signing off the details, including what Mariah will and won’t do for the brand.

“As part of the campaign, her face is going to appear on 50 million packets of crisps, Walkers are hoping to tie in Mariah’s involvement with their big advertising campaign during the festive season, which they think could work really well with her hit ‘All I Want For Christmas.'”

The Spice Girls landed the role of Walkers ambassadors in May, minus Victoria of course, who elected to stay out of the ambitious Spice Girls reunion tours.

The iconic hitmakers appeared on screens across the pond promoting the chips back in 1997, so it was like a special Walkers reunion of sorts. Nothing beats Smiths though.
