YUNGBLUD has new music on the way sooner rather than later, with the announcement of a brand new EP this week.

Sharing a new video for his track ‘Hope For The Underrated’, YUNGBLUD coupled the visuals with the new EP news – the underrated youth is due for release October 11th. According to the British artist, the EP is a collection of his most personal material year.

“I wrote this project about the stories I have heard and the journeys I myself have been on inside my head.” he wrote on social media.

“This project is about us. You all helped me tell a story n [sic] I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The six-track record features Dan Reynolds from Imagine Dragons, as well as singles ‘Hope For The Underrated Youth’ and ‘Parents’. The release will mark the first for YUNGBLUD since his debut album 21st Century Liability last year.

The ‘Hope For The Underrated’ music video, shot in Bulgaria, is a striking offering from YUNGBLUD, who broke the genesis of the video down to Altpress.

“I wanted this project to amplify a world that is consumed with unjustified hate.” he said.

“A world, where the common denominator of my generation is the fight for hope, unity and the deep desire for equality. Our ideologies are colliding head on with the hate around us, but we are beating it with a bouquet of fucking flowers! …The video was shot in Bulgaria with the most incredible young people. They helped me tell this story. They made this video what it is.”
