Halsey has continued to roll out the initial puzzle pieces of her new record, Manic, this time with a brand new single in ‘Clementine’.
Released on the weekend (coincidentally the singer’s 25th birthday), ‘Clementine’ has a haunting vibe to its melody, which adds to the emotional impact of Halsey’s vocal.
Over her past album of releases, Halsey has displayed a solid maturity with her songwriting and as she approaches Album Number Three, it would seem that we’re just going to be seeing more growth and flourishing from the artist also known as Ashley Frangipane.

The music video takes things to an aquarium, where we see Halsey and her brother Sevian dancing against in the gallery. Featuring choreography by Dani Vitale and co-direction by Vitale and Anton Tammi, ‘Clementine’ is almost vaudeville in its presentation.
Like the announcement of Manic, Halsey surprised fans with the music video, leading fans to wonder if more tour dates are also brewing in the works.
