Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman and occasional cult leader Jared Leto has reportedly just learned about the COVID-19 after two weeks of isolation in the desert.
Leto took to Instagram to share his revelation, revealing that he missed the memo as he was undertaking a twelve-day meditation retreat.
“Wow. 12 days ago I began a silent meditation in the desert,” the post began. “We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility.”
“Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing — to say the least.
“I’m getting messages from friends and family all around the globe and catching up on what’s going on.”
Honestly, we’re not sure what timeline Jared Leto is existing on. COVID-19 has been dominating headlines for well over two weeks. Though we can’t say we’re entirely shocked, if anyone were to be blissfully unaware of the world around them because they were the centre of their own universe it’s Jared Leto.
