Kang Daniel continues his roll with the announcement of yet another musical treat, this time with Korean rapper Loco.

Damn Daniel, you’re on a roll! K-pop soloist Kang Daniel has announced the release of a new single in collaboration with Korean rapper Loco, titled ‘Outerspace’. While there are no details available yet, fans can expect a teaser film on Friday, May 7th. From the first look, though, we’re all here for the bond vibes!

The new single will be made in collaboration with the popular fandom platform UNIVERSE, where fans can interact with K-pop idols and get dibs on exclusive content.

‘Outerspace’ will be Kang’s first collaboration with Loco. The rapper rose to fame on the South Korean hip-hop reality show Show Me The Money, and has since become a mainstay on the Korean entertainment scene. This will also be his second musical collaboration since ‘Late Night’ with Simon Dominic, released earlier this year.

Having put out three albums in the past 13 months — the latest being the final chapter of his color trilogy, titled Yellow — Kang himself has been having a busy year. While he’s always been vocal about his mental health struggles, Yellow serves as the most personal account yet of his journey from depression and anxiety to finally getting back to making music.

“When people think of yellow they think of it as a cute, lovely color but I see it as really cold. When I think of yellow I think of the coldness of the early morning. But, at the same time, it’s the start of the new day.” he explained the rationale behind the name of his latest work, speaking to Dazed in an interview earlier this year.
