Is this real life?! Boiler Room is returning to Australia and just not just via our screens… in real life!
As reported by Stoney Roads, Sydney is the lucky city to get the Boiler Room treatment. The event comes as a moment of collaboration, with global dance party set to leave the party plans in the very capable hands of Sydney based events, festival and touring agency, Finely Tuned.
Finely Tuned shared on their Instagram post, “From the people behind the @LostParadiseAU and Paradise Club nights comes @Lost_Sundays – an expression of rhythm and dance, each and every Sunday afternoon at the recently transformed ivy. With a diverse sound palette and a focus on championing high-quality local artists, residents and special guests, all are welcome on our Lost Sundays dance floor. From the outwardly adventurous to the socially curious; Lost Sundays is an inclusive collective of characters united in motion. Come as you are, lose yourself and leave revitalised.”
The event will also celebrate the recently transformed ivy venue and the (delayed) return of live music in general. It’s definitely been a hot minute since the last Boiler Room which touched down in Australia in 2019. The 2019 iteration of the event went down at Melbourne’s Arts Precinct in collaboration with Sugar Mountain.
And everybody remembers that ever-iconic 2018 Boiler Room in Melbourne featuring Honey Dijon which has gone down in Boiler Room history as one of the greatest of all time. While international artists are always a pleasure, it’s pretty cool that the upcoming round is set to feature local talent.
As per the usual schedule of events, it’ll be live streamed globally on May 30th. Tickets are available to purchase now, with early bird tickets going for $20, online presale at $25 and on the door for $30.
