Following the success of the first Elsewhere event, which featured Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey headlining an intimate night of music in the unique space of Nobby’s Lighthouse, the second instalment of the boutique festival series will be held in, of all places, Maitland Gaol.
Dubbed The Lock-Up and held on Saturday October the 10th, the second instalment of Elsewhere will feature performances from folk favourite Josh Pyke, Australian rock trio The Basics, the vocal talents of Thelma Plum, as well as appearances from Hayden Calnin, The Soorleys, and De’May.
As The Maitland Mercury reports, there will also be beverages available courtesy of the Six String Brewing Co. bar and the Express Can Bar. Meanwhile, you and your fellow inmates can grab your grits when food is served in The Mess Hall.
