Josh Farro, who just recently walked out on his band Paramore in a messy split, has announced that he’s got a new band going.
Entitled Novel American, he says unsurprisingly says that they’re moving in a different direction. He reckons that they won’t sound like Jimmy Eat World as much as Paramore fans might suspect.
Farro reckons “We all love Jimmy Eat World, so it’s hard not to sound like them, but there’s a little of everything in there,” he says. “We’re huge fans of Radiohead, Sigur Rós, Explosions in the Sky.”
