Five-time ARIA Award winner Katie Noonan is taking on one of the most beloved records of the ’90s—Jeff Buckley’s Grace—with a 20-date national tour from September.
Presented by Frontier Touring, ‘Katie Noonan: Jeff Buckley’s Grace Tour’ will see the celebrated singer-songwriter bring her soaring vocals and unique artistic vision to the full tracklist of Buckley’s cult classic debut album, taking the show to regional centres and cities across Australia.
Noonan will be joined on select dates by special guests Jack Carty and Georgia Fields.
For Noonan, Grace isn’t just a great album; it’s the album that changed everything.
“In 1994, Jeff Buckley’s seminal debut album Grace was released into the world,” she says. “I was 17 and never had I heard a sound world like this… This album is the single biggest influence on my musical journey.”
She even credits Grace with shaping her own debut album Polyserena released with her band, George, in 2002, and the 29 studio albums she’s released since.
“I was lucky enough to see Jeff live in 1996 and it was honestly a transcendental experience and one of the greatest concerts I will ever see,” she shared on the album’s 30th anniversary. “His integrity, unique sound and achingly honest lyrics have inspired me so deeply, and in the 30th anniversary of the Grace album, I am honoured to present this body of work with some of favourite musicians.”

In 2014, Noonan released her version of “Last Goodbye” on Songs That Made Me, a collaboration of female artists including Abby Dobson, Angie Hart and Martha Marlow sharing a collection of the songs that influenced their lives (and careers).
Noonan unveiled her reworking of the full record with a string of sold-out shows at Sydney Festival earlier this year, earning praise for her emotionally rich performance and musical precision.
Now, she’s taking that tribute on the road, with shows scheduled in Perth, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and more.
Joining her on the road for most of the SA, WA, TAS, QLD, ACT, and NSW shows (excluding Albury) is Jack Carty—an acclaimed songwriter and longtime collaborator of Noonan’s who has co-written with the likes of Josh Pyke and Dan Wilson.
Georgia Fields, known for her lush, string-laden art-pop, will appear alongside Melbourne’s Andromeda String Quartet for all Victorian shows and Albury.
With 25 years in the industry, seven-times platinum record sales, and 29 ARIA nominations to her name, Noonan’s vocal prowess and musical curiosity continue to cement her place as one of Australia’s most respected artists.
Her recent honour as Best Live Voice QLD at the National Live Music Awards only reinforces her enduring live appeal.
