Alpha Wolf have parted ways with longtime vocalist Lochie Keogh after eight years with the Australian metalcore outfit.
The band confirmed the news on Friday, August 21st, revealing that the split was mutual and asking fans to respect both Keogh’s privacy and their own as they navigate the change.
“Alpha Wolf have mutually parted ways with long time vocalist, Lochie Keogh,” the band said in a statement.
“We are deeply saddened, but remain hopeful for what the future holds. We ask that you respect Lochie’s privacy, as well as ours during this time.”
No further details surrounding Keogh’s sudden departure have been revealed.
As a result of the lineup change, Alpha Wolf have also cancelled their upcoming European headline tour along with all other scheduled appearances for the remainder of 2026.
“As a result, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming European headline tour and all remaining shows for 2026 while we work through this transition,” they continued.

The European run had been scheduled to take place in October, with Psycho-Frame, Fox Lake and fellow Australians Diamond Construct joining Alpha Wolf across a number of dates.
Keogh joined Alpha Wold in 2018, arriving alongside drummer Mitch Fogarty as the band returned from a brief hiatus. Before becoming their vocalist, Keogh had been a part of the band’s orbit for several years, joining them on interstate runs and helping with merch a gear.
He would go on to front the band through their rise from the Australian heavy scene to an increasingly prominent international presence, appearing on 2020 album A Quiet Place to Die and its 2024 follow up, Half Living Things.
The latter became one of the band’s biggest releases to date, debuting at No. 19 on the ARIA Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Australian Albums Chart.
Alpha Wolf have not yet indicated who will replace Keogh, or when they intend to return to the stage.
