The long-awaited reconciliation between Liam and Noel Gallagher was caught on camera for an upcoming Oasis documentary.
As reported by Variety, Disney+ EMEA head of content Angela Jain revealed at the Edinburgh TV Festival that footage of the brothers reconnecting after 15 years without speaking will appear in Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger.
“This is the story of two brothers who, I think, we all have heard of, who didn’t talk to each other for 15 years, and that moment of reconciliation is captured on camera,” Jain said.
The revelation offers fans a rare glimpse behind one of rock’s most famously volatile sibling relationships, which effectively ended when Oasis split in 2009 following years of increasingly public tension between Liam and Noel.
The brothers spent the following decade and a half trading barbs in interviews and across social media, while repeatedly shutting down any hopes of an Oasis reunion.
That all changed when the band announced its comeback, bringing Liam and Noel back together and triggering enormous demand from fans who had spent years wondering whether the pair would ever share a stage again.
According to Jain, Disney+ executives immediately recognised the significance of having cameras present as the reconciliation unfolded.

“I’m in,” she recalled telling Disney+ VP of unscripted originals Sean Doyle when he first brought her the project. “Everyone is going to talk about this doc.”
Jain said the response to the documentary’s trailer had only reinforced that confidence.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger will chronicle the story surrounding the band’s return, with the Gallagher reconciliation now shaping up as one of its biggest draws.
For a band whose history has been defined almost as much by the volatile relationship between its two central figures as the songs it produced — songs like “Wonderwall”, “Live Forever”, and “Don’t Look Back in Anger” — footage of Liam and Noel actually repairing their relationship promises something fans have never previously been able to see.
The documentary is part of Disney+’s expanding slate of locally-produced programming in the UK and Europe.
