Foo Fighters will play an intimate Melbourne show at the new Crown LIVE, a 1,250-capacity venue.
Dave Grohl and co. will play the venue on Monday, November 16th, for a concert Crown is billing as “Loud & Up Close”. The show takes place two days after the band performs at Marvel Stadium.
Crown LIVE is the redeveloped former Palms at Crown and is due to reopen in November. The venue has been rebuilt for concerts, residencies, theatre and comedy. Foo Fighters will be among its first major bookings.
Getting in won’t involve a regular public onsale. Fans must register through Crown LIVE by 11:59pm AEDT on Monday, October 12th. Ticket requests will then be handled through Ticketmaster between 9am on Thursday, October 15th, and 11:59pm on Friday, October 16th.
Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified on Wednesday, October 21st. Each verified registrant can request a maximum of two tickets, and registering does not guarantee entry.
Tickets start at $199 for Bronze seating and rise to $299 for Silver. Gold seating and general admission standing are both priced at $499, with a $10.25 processing fee added per transaction. The show is strictly 18+.
The Crown LIVE date falls during Foo Fighters’ Take Cover tour. As Tone Deaf previously reported, the band’s Australian and New Zealand run begins in Brisbane on November 5th before visiting Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne. After Crown LIVE, they head to Adelaide on November 17th, with New Zealand dates and a Perth finale following in January 2027.
